Would each policy be based on their respective sizes or will they likely overlap? 

That said, there is certainly a brief period of overlap with insurance when LPI is placed and a borrower finally obtains a policy.  

(Zinsser's ,B-I-N's primer)   I cut out any overlapping paper (seams) and fill in with drywall mud or spackle.

Just like any stain, dont start or stop in the middle of an area or the overlap will show.

In my area there are MLS overlaps between numerous MLS's [which has been the subject of a lawsuit] as such you can occasionally find a prop. listed  on the "wrong" MLS which are listed on public sites such as Zillow etc. but not on the common MLS for that area.

I would probably opt for a floating vinyl, either lock together or overlap stick, and buy an extra box or two for later repair use. 

Why hasn't anyone thought of overlapping multiple lists (absentee list, compared against tax default or something like that) to find true motivated sellers?
