This is something I will be outsourcing.  

For that service to be 20 dollars less a month they use a phone tree that requires outsourcing to other countries to answer and sending them to an information web black hole to spend endless time finding what they are looking for.Then you have someone like me that makes up a very small percentage of the population in income and wealth.

Because property owners are pushing so hard on pricing, many PMCs are outsourcing to improve profits.

I think you should be cautious to outsource things as a newbie without understanding how it works, what the nuances are etc because essentially you should know your business before you outsource things...doesn’t mean you have to be an expert but knowing it is vital.

The other primary time requirement is tenant interviews and screening; which I feel could also be out sourced with a pre-made script (at least the initial phase of tenant screening).

From what you posted you are still outsourcing quite a bit it seems but there isn't a right or wrong amunt of what you outsource.

If you plan to originate and sell, to get yields into fair market territory, you'll be discounting your paper, meaning that your margin on the home will need to be high enough to absorb the discount and still produce a better return than just outsourcing the lending process.

Then figure out what software they're using, find out what insurance & licensing you'd need, how much in-house our outsourced staff costs, and try to come up with some figures for revenue and expenses at different stages.

Don't forget to research local regulations surrounding MTRs and STRs, factor in management fees if you plan on outsourcing, and assess your risk tolerance between a larger, single multi-family property or multiple, potentially distant, MTR/STRs.
