They never advised you to take a long term rental loan from the start?

With the newer 5% down conventional loan for owner-occupied multifamily option, I generally advise people to start analyzing from there if they want to house hack a multifamily with minimal down.  

I would advise picking one of those strategies and rolling with it.

If you can't qualify, DSCRs are a good option but I normally advise to stick with a 3-year prepay (or less, depending on pricing).

I would advise you to get pre approved from your lender and make them aware as it will help them understand you are serious!

And well the Sponsor has had a successful RE business for going on two decades so I have to think there is some hope for monetary recovery..

I also know that RAD's accreditation with the BBB has been revoked due to the massive influx of similar complaints that have been pouring in since the official statement was released on April 1st, 2024.I would strongly advise ALL BP members to stay far away from this scam.
