Both companies have a variety of services for a variety of clients but the Next Steps group houses offenders coming from prison that are placed by the state of New Hampshire and pay the company between $350,000-$450,000 per client to house them per year and provide services and treatment to try to get them ready to move back into the community following their incarceration.

Now several months into this and I will now have to pay to keep the tenants belongings in storage for a few months at my expense since they got incarcerated unless, I can get a family member to take it (which I seriously doubt at this point).

Not only was it tough to see how incarceration could wear on a person's mindset (in a multitude of ways, but even in this case financially and how they plan or feel about their purpose), but it was also struggle to try to cover so much ground in such a short period of time.

If it's an individual who made a bad decision 10 or 20 years ago, had a decent disciplinary record while incarcerated (it's impossible to stay out of every incident of you're incarcerated for any amount of time), and have stabilized their life with a family, you're probably going to be dealing with a normal guy who made a poor decision in his past.There are so many of us who could have been incarcerated along the way but we just didn't get caught...
