If you don't have those little grip things that (I think) they require now on tubs (not sure but it seems like all the new tubs have them) then pay for it, put the little non-stick appliques on and call it a day.

The irony is @Michael Stole is from a place (Ottawa) with colder winters than Indianapolis so I would expect him to be familiar with water lines in winter.That said, sometimes we are in such a hurry to get on the road we overlook something (like shutting the water off or leaving the heat on) only to have that sense of "oh oh" grip us a few hours later as we sit on a plane at 30,000'.
