I have decent connections for architects, framers and a GC.

Same can be said with framers not squaring things off and drywallers or cabinet installers running into issues because of it.

Just this month in May I got a $6k+ bill from them that they 'found' as they say they used 2 framers and I did not pay the other as they forgot to bill me for him. 

Looking for a framer that has experience in remodel.

To truly implement something like metal studs, you need an entire generation of homebuilders, architects, framers who are comfortable using it as an alternative.

From there, it will likely be an architect to get plans and constuction drawings, then onto a lot of calls to find site work, plumbers, electricians, foundation, framers, roofers, carpenters, windows and siding, gutters, drywallers, cabinets and counter, flooring, etc.

You own the house and will hire out all the subs (framers, electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc).
