We will then, as the units turn over, get rents up a good bit further with additional design improvement renovations and hopefully reno into lower interest rates when they drop or at the very least in 5 years on our 20 year we'll have paid off enough to refi into a smaller loan.That is the only kind of smaller deal we can find in neighborhoods where we want to buy now.

Unless the designer has a good social/online footprint with designs I like, I would think twice before hiring them no matter what others say.  

Those that a familiar with design and furnishing a home know the suppliers, but for a newbie I suppose it would be confusing, although it's confusing for them without Minoan also. 

They have solid lease agreements designed to protect you, your income, and your property.Property Maintenance & Repairs: They have a network of vetted, licensed, insured contractors that can respond quickly and do the job right the first time.Minimizing Vacancy & Maximizing Occupancy: Their marketing reduces vacancy time.

Ok, so I see this might have been a design flaw in the original build so there isn't much you can do unless you rip it all out.You could have it all scoped and see what's what so you can get an idea of what you are dealing with.You could comp the guests a night.
