Count your chickens when they hatch and your profits when you sell.

Just because you like chicken it doesn't mean you have to hate steak.

My uncle was in that situation and would just avoid them until he got his portfolio funding from a financial institution.It does stink because it is a chicken and the egg theory... how do you get capital unless you bring a deal to the team? 

In my case it was a tenant frying chicken on the stove top. 

Kudos to you for putting together a real estate investment plan - and don't worry about your newbie status - spring chickens are overrated ;)If you haven't already, I would recommend that you start talking to potential lenders (banks, mortgage brokers, credit unions, etc.)

I know its a chicken-and-egg problem, but its one that all new investors go through.  

Now, here's my chicken and the egg issue that I'm getting stuck on.  

Task rabbit is that service  perhaps people can get you that chicken noodle soup if you are sick in bed and no one can be there for you. 

I'm moving forward on a property in Hagerstown, but I don't want to count my chickens before the eggs hatch. 

Neighbors are telling me that the new owners have a chicken coup that could cost an $800 fine (neighbors paid the price last year).
