We have considered doing airbnb and switching to nightly rentals, the cashflow would be better but its also a lot more work and expense as we would have to schedule cleaners and do more laundry service.

No, no hourly "good enough" can compare, I know because I have faced off with them and man-alive I LOVE facing off with them because it's just a big green-light for me to take em to the cleaners. yeah, that's the truth of it.
