Hi all,I'm an investor and I have a certain part of town that I would like to catalog for every single unit that is listed as a duplex, up to 8-12 unit apartment complex, and then start working through that list and making regular contact with the owners.Does anyone have a tested and efficient approach for combing a specific town/zip code for potential multifamily properties to seek out ?

Using this as an opportunity to practice tracing down non-resident homeowners,  I went to the county assessors website as well as the county records website only to find that they do not catalog properties by address.

For what it's worth here's what I decided on as a trial run:1xhttp://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/9021713...plus 3x (2 outer edge and 1 smack in the middle)http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/6021722...with the bracket turned 90 degrees so it can be attached to the upper part of the opening (with prior removal of the rail).

I've been listening to the back catalog of BP podcasts and strangely enough this was addressed in the quick tip for Episode 198 and is summarized basically as not knowing the sellers motivation means that heir asking could be real or arbitrary and you never know if you don't ask.
