This system is called online TIN matching, and you will have to sign up for IRS eServices in advance and share your personal information in the process.My contractor says he is a business and does not need a 1099He is wrong.There is an exemption for corporations, both C-corporations and S-corporations.

If possible, in the future I would try to obtain a copy of a standard Condo questionnaire from the HOA prior to the mortgage application process and ask your lender to review it in advance in order to mitigate some of the time and costs risks associated.

Our experience has been that MTR residents do not book way in advance of their travel and they want to see great pictures, so being pro-active won't be as big a deal as you might expect.
