The threats of leins were not working, as truthfully I had no idea how mechanical liens worked at the time and would just contact a lawyer who did understand them. ( I since have, a lien was placed and it was fraudulent) He began to dismantle the electric after breaking into the breaker box.

As you said, they can’t make him sign the release.someday they’ll fix this issue but until then you need a lawyer, or a new lender, or the seller needs a buyer.Consider this a 2 on a scale of 1-10 for real estate problems.

in our area that is a real big deal.. we did another demo and left a few pieces of flooring an inspector came on our job determined they had asbestos in them and we violated taking asbestos items to the regular land fill.. that cost me 19k in fines and 18k in lawyer fees to keep the fines from being really big..
