As I’m starting my real estate investment journey, would it be a wise decision to rent out my primary residence and seek a temporary rental for myself while I save money to purchase an additional property for investment?

Next we have actions to on-shore US manufacturing industry by eliminating foreign advantages in trade (this is where tariffs come into things) and forcing foreign business to invest in US domestic operations. 

In addition, I do want to get some type of temporary security camera for the property while doing some minor rehab fixes, Are there any suggestions for temporary security cameras?

ya the one I just mentioned to Jay Hurst was a guy who supposedly had off shore money and would get us a large line just needed to give them 500k.. big dog and pony show at wall st lawyer etc.. they even had shills for references that we called and again just did not pass the sniff test..

Our insurance did not cover moving the tenants out along with their temporary housing.

In general medical professionals are looking for smaller units (studio/1 bedrooms) not 2+ bedrooms- In order to understand corporate demand you should research the types of corporations in the market and figure out if they bring traveling / temporary workers to the area because not all corporations do- You didn't mention colleges but if there's higher education nearby this can also be a driver of MTR demand.

If so, have them ask their provider if it will cover temporary housing while repairs are made.2.
