Oddly enough, a quiet office/service center tenant was raided by the DEA for shipping and receiving marijuana.

I did have a hit for an out of state crime on a tenant, but it was small marijuana possession in TX, so I accepted them anyway.

My horror stories include murder, a 2 year old drowning, DEA, cultivating marijuana, burning down, INS, physically assaulted/threatened, etc...

I have a couple of tenants in a unit that use medical marijuana and grow it.

The thing is that when you really look at the Libertarian platform, it's not exactly stuff conservatives want: open borders, marijuana legalization, pro choice, lots of things that Conservatives don't care for.

Rented for an average of $2500 a month over the 2+ year hold period, to individuals growing or processing marijuana.

@Tiffany Thompson-damm just state up front in your property listing that growing marijuana on the property is prohibited and as the owner, you will monitor the situation and report any violations to the DEA and local police.

I attended a medical marijuana briefing by a criminal attorney (defends medical marijuana businesses) recently who described CA SB 643, the Medical Marijuana Regulation and Safety Act (MMRSA).  

Browsing the MLS, I've seen a few listings for commercial properties with verbage like this:"The property falls into the Medical Marijuana Overlay District for the City of Brockton!!" 

I think your absolutely right that’s why I asked because I don’t see ppl running up to Albany at all there is no economic stability besides the schools, and it’s sad that the governor hasn’t addressed this I think what would help the real estate market beside a big tech boost is the legalization of recreational  marijuana up there, give a reason for tourists investors ect to actually visit Albany it will boost the local economy give locals a chance a new business ventures and overall give the area some much needed exposure
