I grew up in Battle Creek. 

Financial freedom is different for each person based on how they grew up, what they need and want, and how they live.

I grew up learning maintenance on properties my parents and grandparents had in Akron, then started buying my own after college.  35 years later, been full time for the last five years or so.  

I plan to hold this property towards retirement as it's in the area I grew up (obviously anything can change).I am receiving conflicting statements from contractors/friends/family on which roofing option to go with.
