I kept hitting snags with getting a HELOC or regular loan in spite of excellent credit and savings because of debt to income (no W2 job), or the way property was held or described - so many little things you never think of!

The contract I signed however did not state anything of that nature.In the end I never did pay them (and they never asked me in spite telling me they would once) - even when I told them I no longer need their services they never asked for payment and we just stopped communicating.I know this is long winded but can I sue at this point and is it even worth it?

Keeping the heat set at the lowest setting (45-50 degrees) AND shutting off the main valve are always a good idea if it will be closed up for a while.I am embarrassed to share that in spite of my experience with this problem, I dragged my feet winterizing my camper this year and blew apart the water filter housing after only a couple of cold days.
