I do not agree.They are doing nothing to secure new housing in spite of having been notified in advance. 

I kept hitting snags with getting a HELOC or regular loan in spite of excellent credit and savings because of debt to income (no W2 job), or the way property was held or described - so many little things you never think of! 

The contract I signed however did not state anything of that nature.In the end I never did pay them (and they never asked me in spite telling me they would once) - even when I told them I no longer need their services they never asked for payment and we just stopped communicating.I know this is long winded but can I sue at this point and is it even worth it?

Keeping the heat set at the lowest setting (45-50 degrees) AND shutting off the main valve are always a good idea if it will be closed up for a while.I am embarrassed to share that in spite of my experience with this problem, I dragged my feet winterizing my camper this year and blew apart the water filter housing after only a couple of cold days.

I assume you won't trash the place and won't have to be evicted (in spite of being a complete deadbeat and never paying a penny in rent :-)).

He could have just as easily described the sample house to be cash-flow positive and profitable for the investor in spite of the operating and holding costs he stated.

In spite of knowing what the law decrees, it is still a "wait and see" situation in my opinion.

So my take is that if you start to heavily market to preforeclosures, you'll find those who are going to lose their homes in spite of the fact that they have equity in them.

There are discouragements, for sure, but revisiting this observation will restore a sense of well-being and gratitude for a lifestyle that, in spite of the setbacks, offers so very much!
