Removing the basic text signature is very disappointing to professionals like myself who have been contributing to members' questions in exchange for a backlink to our websites.  

I want a way to drive some back links and also make sure we're still on Trulia, Craigslist, Google base and the hundres of other places you can syndicate your listings to without having to do everything manually.

My inbound strategy for my local area is creating a educational hub on real estate and just try and draw as much traffic to my site as possible in order to create a large number of back links.

Particularly for the backlinks it generates for your website when you actively blog.

I do not base my SEO strategies on Backlinks, which is what everyone is doing.So it costs you nothing (money) to do what I do, but it will cost you time to become the expert and not many resources are out there for you to use because.. like I said, they are all wrong.If all the resources out there were right, why am I pretty much the only one with these results?

I don't know you Ned, but I'm sure you are posting because you want a back link to your site, and a higher google ranking for your website blog.

Curious if you have made any progress with backlinks, and if so if you have been able to see a noticeable difference in your SERP?

For example, from what I can tell, the information he presents on obtaining backlinks looks like it is actually frowned upon by google now and can do more harm than good.

Which can be quite hard if you are going against.. well ... guys like me ;)Building SEO backlinks, citations, internal links etc. etc. means NOTHING if your competition is also doing the same thing!
