Make sure to research lenders, get pre-approved, and calculate your potential ROI before bidding.

Generally speaking, with SFR or small multis, I just rely on the lease/rent roll (and some form of proof of payment; i.e. bank statements, deposit receipts, tax returns, etc.).

You'll want to put together a personal financial statement (basically lists of all your assets and liabilities) and have your tax returns ready.

How does agent commission work now?  Haven't bought a property in awhile.
If I submit an offer, does the offer include the commission or not?

I have just received an escrow analysis statement, and it indicates that's my property taxes for the year will now be $6,839.
