As far as Roth Conversion, it's the question of do you want to pay taxes on the seed or the harvest. 

Before 30 I would only give them seed money or a single starter rental unit in their name.  

New investors’ funding, it would appear, works to seed investment and offset the debt but is insufficient it seems now to raise enough capital to reopen investor payouts.

@Collin Schwartz you certainly don't need to get into the numbers here if you don't want to, but it might really help explain some of the capitalization issues raised earlier in the thread.Here's my read: the OP left his day-job to take a different day-job (started a company doing PM work) and took some 200k of seed money from a HELOC to  begin investing in SFRs and multi-families and reposition them.

If the statements made in the post that seeded this are true, and what you said in this OP are true, this is one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen in my multiple decades in this industry, and gives the entire industry a black eye.If this company pursues litigation, I would love to be on that jury.  

They claim you need seed money of $25k to join, however, after they take 8000, and the accountant whom they recommend takes $1800.00 upfront for setting up an LLC, the amount you are left with is not enough to invest.
