For short-term rentals (STRs), the 100-hour rule may be an easier path.

Encore is within Reunion, there are a few different communities inside and all have different rules.

Or maybe a favorite way to stay updated on local rules?

ADU zone expansion is not certain, and even then who knows what the rules will be (owner-occupied requirement, etc).

Like others have said, you can't restrict actual service animals but disclose what is going on.I have yet to have someone with a service animal not tell me in advance.
