Cleaning up our work area, I remembered what my old co-worker once told me on the construction site "There are 3 ways a job gets done: One way in our head, another way planned out, and how the job actually goes." 

That's the biggest difference as far as the process goes.

Unfortunantely I have become very familiar with the process.

It should be relatively straightforward to begin discussing the goal-setting and planning process necessary to begin transitioning from current state to future state.
