So I authorized the tenant to call in an appliance repair co, they collected a $100 one time charge, and said the mother board controller needs replacing and it would be like $500 and there would be a one week wait.

When a roof leaks, I replace instead of patching, when a furnace fan or mother board fails, I replace instead of swapping out.

The new dealer might be able to bring system to default settings - not likely but maybe.Otherwise, dealer will need to replace motherboard, keypads/consoles and reprogram system.

When the parts break, they are cheaper to repair and replace than a motherboard would be for a washer with digital programming buttons (appx $50 for parts vs $900).Cheers,Melissa

Shorted out the motherboard on the boiler...which I was told shorted out 2 other parts.I was told that the polarity was set up reversed when the boiler was installed...when it was changed at the circuit box but not the boiler the parts "fried"
