Boiler Repairs

My contractor did some rewiring in the utility room of one of my rentals.

The rewiring caused 720.00 in repairs to the boiler.

He claims there is no way the electrician could have known that when he straightened out the polarity on the circuit to the boiler that boiler was wired the opposite way.

Which caused 3 parts to fail & 180.00 in labor.

My question. who is responsible for the repairs...

Polarity on an AC circuit? Burned out what?

I don't think your getting the truth.
