I am just a slow learner but I am still going at it.

You need to be able to view any of those types of opportunities through two lenses... one is the eager learner that says, "Hey, they are talking my language, I can do this, I'm going to be rich, he has the plan and its so easy!!!"...

I am patient, diligent, persistent, driven, a fast learner and adaptive.

I’m a lifelong learner and exactly doing what you have all suggested- reading, researching, attending meetups, plan to attend conferences etc so I can continue to grow and be knowledgeable in this industry.

But I am ambitious, self driven and a life long learner.
