The upside for me when these tenant's lose it and lash out is that I know I am in their head and I have the upper hand.  

Sometimes when you violate someone's trust, they feel justified in lashing back with whatever means necessary.

You're feeling your oats and lashing out. 

He thought his property would be sold and it was a done deal, so this is him lashing out in fear to get something/anything he can.

But I know Detroit area as I have lent there since 2001 it was ground zero for a lot of real estate fraud.. so there could be some back lash there.

Just make sure the buyer has the whole story before they spend a dime.In case anyone wants to lash out at me - the above response was written tongue in cheek!

She really thinks she is getting back to me, but not realizing that she is going to have very hard time getting back on the program, and while its a financial loss for me, its a very small percentage of my overall incomeEven the program director of RRHA (Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority) called her to talk some sense into her, and she lashed at her as well claiming that I was in bed with RRHA and everyone is going to go jail..

Like I said rents in Oregon if you look back were flat for a good 10 years.. there was signing bonus's and rent decreases.. not many if any rent increases the increases were the last 5 years and in some areas they were substantial like 50% in 3 to 4 years.this led to a back lash in the city of Portlandia so now you have all these people screaming for rent control and you have the law that did pass were you have to pay 4500 to terminate a lease.. and other sundry items..

And before I get a bunch of back-lash for not being patriotic or PC....I am a veteran.
