I have always enjoyed real estate and currently manage my own rental.

I enjoy the book - it gives a great overview of the STR world and specific details on how to get started. 

It’s enjoyable when you buy land, subdivide it, and either hold or sell portions of it.

But when it comes to actually investing, I’m not sure where to start.I’d love to connect with experienced investors who enjoy teaching and wouldn’t mind having someone eager to learn.

Building in hawaii is a lot of solo labor in the heat which I actually really enjoy but away from the family .

I made the mistake of letting someone get in one of my first units that was a bit off the 3 times, they were great tenants very kind and enjoyed their stay and experience with me, but could not afford it when I increased the rent on them, which is something you will have to do because of rising insurance/tax costs.5.)
