I was planning on doing barn board with additional strips at joints between boards for a more detailed looked.  

We're having to take a detailed look at every property and location, in order to make any reasonable projections.

We've both had success and positive cash flow for years but I agree with Jason & Jon that purchasing here needs a more detailed look.

He gave a very detailed look into the step by step process of building a team, locating a property, rehabbing it and selling it (or hold it if you want a long term rental portfolio as well).

Unlike an SFR, where you can probably have a very detailed look all over the place, you'll have to make a pretty cursory look at first and then make an offer if you're really interested.
