@Karl Mikusek - I'm not sure I really follow your argument; Are you trying to talk yourself (or us) out of investing in real estate (where property values have been in creasing at 8-12% per year in most markets, and rents have been increasing at 4-6% per year, and leverage of 75% or more is typical) because there is a 2% annual increase in the Consumer Price Index?

Zillow is off the charts in most cases sometimes it crease me up if I see the zestimates.
