He does not want to deal with the headache of tenants cleaning or any thing to do with STR.

Trying to run a successful PMC is difficult but trying to run multiple companies - VR, Annual, cleaning, and landscaping is probably going to give you an aneurism.

I would consider getting out of property management and getting into cleaning IF you think they are doing better than you .
