Make sure the mobile home's electrical system can handle the amount of power these space heaters require, and stay away from those that blow out hot air that might catch draperies or furniture on fire, and instead opt for the "radiator" style ones that don't have a hot element or fan but instead offer radiant heat that won't catch things on fire.

I typically try to repair them appliances can be expensive and I do appliance repair myself so to someone it may be a huge deal but to me new heating element or new stove eye repair will save you money in the long run especially around property tax time

Chances are it is simply a dead element or defective thermostat...easy and fast fix to simply swap out unit.The biggest issue with new appliances is the electronic circuit boards.
