I cut my teeth on REO and investments back in 2002, I was hooked and trained by some of the best in the field and owned a brokerage in S City shortly after.

I've been using "Wiskers" color code #531-4  any one can mix it, in any type of paint semi gloss, flat, eggshell, latex or enamel. its a grey tan color.. is amazing blends well with any tone carpet or wood floor and the white trim really is awesome.

The cats large teeth are not even used for indoor cats as they are for shredding meat and prey so they use small teeth for cat food we buy at the store.

During my 28 years of police patrol work, I can't tell you the thousands of times that I have witnessed great "wailing and gnashing of teeth" as soon to be displaced family members begin to shout, rip their own clothing, beat on their chests and call out the names of deceased family members in an effort to avail a heavenly intercession to prevent being "put out." 

But without more experience and less variables (multiple owners), this doesn't look like a good one to cut your teeth on

I needed a special circular saw blade with many small teeth to avoid shredding up the lam as the blade cut through.

If your lease has enuff teeth in it, this item would already have been taken care of.

You could use an enamel paint for metal to make it match the walls or trim and secure it with some good brackets and long screws into studs on the walls. 

Sometimes "Magic Eraser" works well on vinyl, plastic, and enamel where other cleansers fail.Consider that the next tenant will also put down a bath mat and cover it up... problem solved?!
