@Felix TorresHi Felix,What everyone else said, plus it's intelligent to have a full property inspection done before you buy to find things like Stab-Loc breakers, Polybutylene Piping, three layers of shingles, antiquated heating system, etc...That way you're less likely to get blindsided by things that need correction vs things that need improvement.Good Luck!

The orange shingles were updated to a darker weathered wood color so ignore that color that works with the brick. 

I have found they actually make selling a property more difficult, can lower the resale, and that shingle/roof replacement at end of their life is quite expensive.
