I'd be more worried about the future performance of Mutual Funds than I would be about signing a personal guarantee to pay back the mortgage on my own well chosen and value-priced properties.Eggs in different baskets is a fine strategy, but shouldn't property investing factor higher than a maximum of just 20% of your available cash?

They sometimes have top brands as returns under the counter at rock bottom clearance prices (inside secret:)) Yes, go with a soft grey as it's more neutral, opens  up the space and it's not the regular boring beige.Quartz is harder than granite,  however Quartz can burn if a  hot pot is left on it too long:)Countertops: request quotes on granite, quartz and laminate, before making a final decision.If you have more questions, let me know.MB

However, and surprisingly, the HOA lawyer is demanding a steep $1,650 in so called "HOA lawyer fees" in addition to $1200 HOA dues.For past properties, I have worked directly with the HOA to negotiate a final HOA amount and paid it off.

If needed I could use the equity I built up in a property to cover it, still the loss of an amount equal to gross rents for 3 houses for a entire year is an unpleasant thing to consider.This brings up a final thing I think all investors need .... resiliency.
