When I was 16, I'll bet 1/2 my friends or more got it on their birthday.This may just be one more issue that Covid changed....is the way we live. we are starting to build dual masters so parents can live with kids or other way around.. your description of being 16 and getting your license and move out a soon as U were 18 is spot on for my generation as well.
