Make a plan that eventually leads to owning property that throws off cash after you purchase it.

Property Management: Are you planning to self-manage or hire a property manager?

I generally prefer higher since I don’t plan on putting in small claims, it’s basically just for catastrophic loses and the savings in premiums over multpiple properties for multiple years should balance that out if I have ever have to use the insurance.

Even really skilled operators are left with no back up plan because they can't pivot to LTR in that market, can´t fetch the price they paid because the STR has lost some steam and was bought using nightly rate numbers etc.

With the right team and planning, it’s a great way to start small, build up cash, and scale up from there.Remember: Start where you are, use what you have, and grow as you learn.

Hi, yes these are solid plans and Ohio is the place to be in order to invest in the real estate market.

My original plan was to buy 15-20 properties with REI if things went well.
