It’s partly powered by the relief of decades of economic evil and by the old belief (babyboomers) that the US should be strong and independent.Some have felt Asia should lead the world.

@John Warren thanks John, that gives me a sense of relief and hope since I do have the reports from HUD when they took over the property, late last summer, showing all major systems were in working order and holding pressure.

Every time my phone rings and it is not a tenant I breathe a sigh of relief!

Just do the right thing for a good tenant - give them 6 days pro-rated rent relief  (3 for unable to use and 3 for the hassles) unless local laws demand something more.

All the red tagged homes people already found places.This past Thursday Alaska was granted FEMA relief but it doesn’t apply to condo associations.

I would have thought it was a capital improvement as well but I have been getting conflicting messages about tax relief for federally declared natural disaster zones and the property is located in one (Hurricane Irma).
