Other than scouring google, what publications and available resources are out there for me to find out more on key players that might be interested in my area?

I scoured the interwebs but couldn't seem to come upon an answer to a simple question.  

I'd love to bend your ear on any incite you may have for the newb aside from hitting all the podcasts and scouring DP's forums.  

@Victor Chico just "nerding out" online over the last few years and scouring foreclosure websites (auction.com, Homepath, Homesteps, etc.), trying to find good deals in on the island.

Taylor I've been scouring Trulia/Zillow but I'd argue there isn't a deal to be had right now, based on my criteria, which is why I questioned my criteria. 

I've been scouring BP and getting tons of useful information!

My strategy currently has been to scour the MLS for deals and I've probably seen just about every multifamily unit available in my desired areas.  

There is no secret sauce a mentor can give you, you know the math, you have the wholesaler contacts, you know how to scour MLS, there isn't a missing piece in your knowledge that someone else needs to fill aside from cheerleader.

I've been listening to podcasts non stop, flipping through forums, and scouring the mls day after day.
