Yet Another Newb from the SF Bay Area

Greetings to all of you!

As an avid fan of podcasts I stumbled on the BP Podcasts late last week... suffice to say I can't stop listening!!

Currently I work a corporate day job that takes me all over Nor Cal. and am searching for that all elusive path to financial freedom. At this point, I have zero hands on real estate experience save for what I gleaned passively from my folks from the 2/3 properties they owned while growing up.

In any event, my goal is to invest either in SFR or perhaps Multi Family in the Sac Area or perhaps even out of state... one unit at a time.

Currently I am diving into "do's and don'ts", analytics (50% rule, Brandon's Investment Calculator, etc.), and realizing very quickly that I don't know what I don't know.

I hope to start building a local network of resources to provide incite and perspective as I move forward and as such, would be very interested to participate in any Bay Area meetings with fellow DP'ers that may be on the docket.

Thanks,

Roger
