Be that person who set's up some STR's there, runs em there, and really caters it to the US "bucket list" tourist. 

The Landlord will verify that the rental is empty of all personal belongings and trash and that there is no damage beyond ordinary wear and tear. 

Personally I look at that as the easy side of putting value to a  BRRR or fix and flips.

Now I'm looking into commercial HUD loans and perhaps starting a fund to continue scaling.

For my own personal goal reasons, I am going to still with searching for a lender who will be open to it.
