There can be a hidden opportunity every now and then when an REO listing agent inputs incorrect information into the MLS listing, and the asset manager does not sufficiently verify the listing.  

Once you had find an area with a healthy population growth you need to cross check that with https://www.crimereports.com/ to find the  "gems in the rough" (stable areas with low % of violent crimes.) and now you have some areas to "farm" That is where the real work just begins with foot on the ground driving by, knock on door etc.......Sok Szerencset Kivanok!

But I often warn people not to judge solely on rates and to be careful about hidden fees.

Same goes for property management companies that charge hidden fees, I’d venture to guess that OP probably pays hidden fees to her PM (most do) but if we go by the notion that higher pay received by the PM should mean better results…..doesn’t necessarily make that true. point is, it doesn’t matter how compensation is paid out, if the people doing the job are lazy or have a bad work ethic you will have poor performance whether hourly or per job.
