If what you pay to live there is equivalent to or less than what you would be renting for, it is definitely a win. 

A lot of duplexes listed are way overpriced and if you can find one thats listed over 60 days you can probably win an offer eventually with that strategy as well (I almost got one like this as well on loopnet).  

However, if someone sues you and wins, they could take all of your rental properties.Better:Using a separate LLC for each rental property.

. - Lose out on most (now you're stuck with that vacant lot that, if you go sell it, will be a stale listing with little/no interest), win on a few, and hopefully the wins offset those losses.

The man, who has equipped himself with many things for his journey, spends everything, no matter how valuable, to win over the gatekeeper.

So if you are looking for a long term relationship, it's best to workout a win-win situation.

This seems like a win-win to securing property in NYC, given costs of rent are likely to increase and there's some sense of security.

That way it becomes a win-win.
