At least in Wisconsin.It is tough for a seller to go back to market having to explain there is nothing wrong with the house, it was financing etc, and therefore not uncommon to try to negotiate EM, especially if the case is not clear.

Just ask the agent if the seller would be open to seller finance, but you have to be able to explain that to the listing agent because they probably won't know.
