I would have to do quite a bit of restructuring of my current VA Loans as well as my Wife's but we both have the entitlement so maybe we could be the ones to pull it off. 

Understand, when you are trying to buy your first rental, from 1,500 miles away you need all the support you ca get, no one was supporting me except for my wife.

The reason I ask is because me and my wife are moving to Jacksonville FL for my work (change of duty station.)

Yea when we move back we’ll be in a luxury apart setting for the time being which the wife loves & proximity to everything however in doing so the property would be vacant until we have a tenant.

I'd name them, but my wife will kick my *** if I do. 

My wife and I have done about 30 flips over the past few years, typically with a partner of ours that has a good amount of cash which he invests, then we split the profit.

Given the market we currently live in, my wife and I decided to make the purchase early, roughly two months before occupying the property.
