I purchased a tenanted SFR in South Summerlin (near Desert Inn and Hualapai) for cash back in summer 2018 - mostly an appreciation play with a 5-7 year horizon. 

What would you say is the market rent for a four bedroom, three bath home in South Summerlin (near Desert Inn & Hualapai), about 1,750 square feet, with a backyard in-ground pool. 

We love Iowa, and I am thinking about trying to fit in RAGBRAI this year as I also love riding my bicycle (a little bit difficult here in the desert, but not impossible).We are thoroughly enjoying our international lifestyle, but we are without the major benefits that come with being a public school teacher in the United States.

We live in the high desert. 

I am new to real estate although I own my home in Palm Springs CA, I also have a home in the High Desert area of CA.

For example desert areas have a tendency to require asphalt roofs to be replaced much more quickly because of the wear and tear on them from the heat. 

And worked as a dish washer, and my mother in law who dropped out of 5th grade to work in the farms, came across an opportunity to buy a small house in the desert for roughly $30k and rented it out to approximately 3 tenants over the course of 10 years (wish I had that low turnover), sold that home at the height of the market and had enough to pay off their existing home and a good retirement cushion.  

Golf  I used to play 130 rounds a year now its 2.I used to take 3 to 4 months and spend it in the desert now its never. 

I never thought or realized that I was going into Iraq- Desert Storm when I visited my Grand Ma' on Joubert Ave, and all during the time I was attending Lemoyne-Owen College on Walker Ave.

In inner cities, rural small towns and in the middle of the desert.
