These scenarios are mainly in North Bay and Silicon Valley markets (but they also seem to be common Bay Area-wide). 

Many internet  companies are moving into the venice area (silicon Beach) and Playa Vista has a number of internet companies, and Apple is moving in.

It technically falls within the geographic limits of the silicon valley.  

Other land in path of progress:  110 Washington county Oregon silicon Forest.. optioned it for 5.5 millionput 250k down and been paying 125k a year in option fee's since 09.. all credit towards purchase price.

I lived in silicon valley and Austin before moving to KC earlier this year (so I have a high bar) but I've been impressed with the how intrigued KC folks are about startups.My coliving startup has gotten lots of support from the press and the local startup community - www.livehomeroom.comWhat type of start up are you looking to incubate btw? 

Prices in Silicon Valley are ridiculous, so I'm researching what markets I'd like to invest.

Hello everyone, My wife and I are mid-30-something Silicon Valley professionals looking to diversify our investments (only stocks today) to include a large portion of it in real estate.
