Hello, I'm brand new to the bigger pockets community.

@Sara Donohue I would re-iterate what someone else said and make sure you have cash reserves for any real estate you're doing because problems happen and sometimes you have to come out of pocket to fix them. 

If I would have held them for another 10 years I would have pocketed about $300k between the 2.I had a chance to sell them early on with a net loss of $100k but decided not to.

There are some interesting pockets in Broward County in and around Fort Launderdale, but I would start small if you can find something that matches price and location.
