In addition to the obvious interest in real estate investing, I'd like to use my rental units to teach my daughters about business and managing money.

In 2015 I set up a STR company in NYC using the arbitrage model, which my daughter ran.

My daughter is currently looking into schools that have an option for a semester/year abroad in Italy so she can study marketing. 

I have several garages but we just use my daughter's spare garage.

I posted here about how my wife and I have been agonizing over buying a condo for ourselves in Southwest Fla for years: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/530/topics/32...We are close to talking ourselves out of it, mainly because we won't be able to use it that much over the next 3-4 years because our daughter is still in high school, and then we have plans to travel more and more of the world (vs hanging out in our condo) as we feel safer leaving darling daughter to her own devices. 

Their daughter owns her own cleaning company and all I've had to do is text her check ins and check out days and my cabin is cleaned.

My daughter attends the charter high school across the street and attached to the Portal Police building.

She give me the number of Elizabeth, the lenders daughter.

Luckily my wife's companies have been pitching 3% in so that has made it bearable for us with my brain anuerism and stroke and she can afford to take care of me and send our daughter to college without going into debt to do it.  

At my age, I don't think it's a good idea to risk my own personal property.Fortunately, we have no credit cards, since we maxed those out during the housing crunch and ended up not being able to pay them.And we only have one 17-yr old (step) daughter who lives with her mom, so there's no child support due to anyone.I've tried network marketing, affiliate marketing, blogging, etc., etc., as a "second job," and those are not viable.
