Many states would not allow you to represent the LLC in a landlord-tenant case (eviction, etc.) and would require an attorney to represent the LLC.So, the same logic may require you to have a RE Broker's license to manage the LLC's property.Run this by a knowledgeable real estate attorney!

SMLLC is disregarded and does not have a separate filing requirement (gets reported straight on the Form 1040).I can't speak to the implications of a potential divorce, I would consult an attorney.

@Misook FoleyTypically a bank will not release one of the lien holders and a refinance would be necessary.As part of the settlement agreement the court may order the property and or the debt to one of the parties but again that name is not releasedOther factors do come into play such as what state it was in as some states have different laws regarding equitable interest etcI would speak to your divorce attorney about this and see what can be done
