This buddy happens to work with the tenant on a daily basis.He told me she was just offered a promotion for an out-of-state position, and the company offered to pay all relocation, travel, expenses, temporary housing, etc....So it looks like this is just a quick cash grab.

The only lower form of life in RE are those who promote wholesaling basically turning people into birddogs or joining some system, they are the straw-man of the straw-men, giving stories of fantastic deals.

One way that I personally like, is offering an investor a cumulative preferred return and then earning a promote once the return is met.
