Also, I HAVE called animal control twice myself and even asked for a supervisor and they tell me that even though I am the owner, I can't report it unless I experience it and that the tenant who experiences it needs to be the one to provide details as to time/date/how long, etc.

So with that, I do not want to say I'm getting into this to try and be rich but would rather have the freedom from that wealth to make it to my daughters mid-day school function, meet my wife for lunch without checking in with a supervisor, or just simply have the freedom to take the family on a real trip etc.
